Aceh or officially, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam is a Special Area, located on the island of Sumatra. Aceh is located in the northwest of Sumatra, and 12:26% includes the island of Sumatra. Aceh has 119 islands, 73 major rivers and lakes 2 fruit. Aceh is surrounded Strait of Malacca to the north, North Sumatra Province in the east and Ocean Hindi in south and west. Aceh capital of Banda Aceh which was formerly known as the 'Kutaradja'.


Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Special Region is a provincial level, located on the island of Sumatra and is the westernmost province of Indonesia. This area borders the Bay of Bengal in the north, the Indian Ocean to the west, the Strait of Malacca in the east, and North Sumatra to the southeast and south. NAD is the capital of Banda Aceh. The harbor is Malahayati-Krueng Raya, Sabang, Lhokseumawe and Langsa. Aceh is the region worst hit by the earthquake and Tsunami December 26, 2004. Some places on the coast completely destroyed. The hardest was Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar, Aceh Jaya, Aceh Barat, Singkil and Simeulue. Aceh has a wealth of natural resources such as oil and natural gas. Natural resources were located in North Aceh and East Aceh. Aceh is also known for its forest resources, which is located along the Bukit Barisan range, from Kutacane, Aceh Tenggara, until Seulawah, Aceh Besar. A national park, the Gunung Leuser National Park (TNGL) also found in Southeast Aceh.

Acehnese language consists of several dialects, the dialect of Tourism, Banda, Bueng, Power, Pase, Pidie, Tunong, Seunagan, Matang, and Meulaboh, but most importantly there; ah Banda dialects. This Dialaek used in Banda Aceh. In grammar, Bahasa Aceh did not know suffixes to form new words, while the phonetic system, the 'eu' most used sign pepet (sound e)
