Banten region is geographically close to the island of Java and Sumatra. It is located right between the island and the city of Jakarta. With a total area of 9160.70 km2 and the population reached 9,223,850, most of the population still live in rural areas in the form of a large family.

Banten consists of 4 districts and 3 cities of Serang Regency, Pandeglang, Lebak, Tangerang and Cilegon, Serang, Tangerang. Serang City is the capital of Banten.Terletak 8 degrees south of the equator, this province has a tropical climate with two seasons: rainy and dry season. The southern part of Banten is a sloping hilly areas, while the northern coastal region.

Community Banten has Islamic roots are strong and original culture still exist in their lives. Cultural roots are still attached that make Jakarta as a place of cultural tourism, nature, and pilgrimage.
